MEET THE TEAM AND GET TO KNOW OUR WORK
O’MALLEY STEUERMAN (they/he/thon)
O’Malley is an actor, DRAGster, playwright, and producer from Baltimore. Residing on Nentego, Piscataway, and Susquehannock land.
Thon graduated from Towson University with their BFA in Acting in May of 2020 and have since solo-traveled the U.S. to complete their researched-based performance project and entitled “so, what are you gonna do next?”.
In June of 2023 they made their producing debut with "R/J” at the Strand Theater Company.
Thon fancies a painted mustache and their favorite word is VAST. Read their personal artist mission Statement Here.

R/J @The Strand Theater Company: “With a Trans Romeo and a Fat Juliet at its center, this newly-devised adaptation Queers more than just the lovers’ relationship: family structures, violence, love, duty, identity, and even death. In every possible aspect of the production, we are centering Trans folks, Queer folks, fat folks, BIPOC folks, and women - all badass artists local to Baltimore.

ORIGINS, A Trans Day of Visibility Cabaret @The Club Car Baltimore: An afternoon of live music, drag, poetry, comedy and more benefiting The Trans Rights Advocacy Coalition and hosted by Lady Dane Figueroa Edidi.
ESTRELLITA BEATRIZ (they/e)
By thirty, Estrellita Beatriz will have facilitated over 300 theatrical productions and live events with humans of all generations. Born and raised in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, e started acting and mix media arts in 2006 at Working Classroom; e debuted in “A Hole in the Wall”, a devised political commentary on the Bush Administration and immigration based on the wizard oz, as Dorthy. Since then, e has worked nationwide in New Mexico, New Orleans, New York, Chicago, and Washington DC, as a Stage Manager, Production Manager, Production Designer, Intimacy Designer, Dramaturg, Deviser, Playwright, and Producer in houses that range from twenty-five seats to two thousand seats. Starr is a full-spectrum artist, doula, facilitator, and ritual maker. Starr is also a proud alumnus of the Steppenwolf Leadership and USITT Stage Management Mentorship programs.
Their theatrical artist work, combined with Starr’s political and ancestral healing practice, has led them to work at the praxis of death, reproductive justice, and gender as an accompagnement (doula) and somatic embodied dramaturg and designer. Starr is the New Work and Civic Programs manager at Baltimore Center Stage. In e’s spare time, starr is oracularly crafting a book about Relationship Gardening: an ecosexual look at polyamory, playwrighting, and seeding trans liberation wherever they go.

LOCALLY GROWN FESTIVAL @Baltimore Center Stage: A Two Day Festival featuring a diverse range of more than 150 performers, artists, and makers from the Baltimore area’s arts ecosystem. Including maker fairs, visual art galleries, slam poetry, improv comedy, live readings, a dance showcase, and more, all under one roof.

TRANS DAY OF CARE @Baltimore Center Stage: A Trans Day of Visibility event featuring music, drag, and several local trans artist and local business vendors. Providing a space of celebration rooted in the collective care and nurturing of Trans people.
ALEXANDER VELASCO SURO (they/he)
alexander elias velasco suro is a latine multi-disciplinary artist dedicated to creating and uplifting artistic work centered on trans joy, trans liberation, trans divinity, trans community, and the decolonization of land, pleasure, and art. alexander is a drag king, an actor, a poet, a zine maker, producer, and visual artist.
